COMEAn IPL schedule is not a confirmed playing XI
A fixture schedule tells you when teams are due to meet. It does not by itself confirm the players selected for that match.
Read the document type
A schedule, squad list, preview and confirmed playing XI have different purposes. Check the label and publication time. A predicted XI should remain a prediction until an authoritative match announcement confirms selection.
Use the match identity
Teams may play multiple fixtures close together. Match the date, opponent and venue before using a team list. A correct XI from an earlier game can still be wrong for the fixture you are following.
Avoid artwork assumptions
A player featured in a poster is not necessarily playing in every advertised match. Use current team or competition announcements for selection details and read any subsequent corrections.
